Only 5 of the 7 pilots completed their flights. Dissapointing turnout this time but probably due to difficulties in getting the flights in due to other competitions and bad weather.
Don played an interesting trick on his first launch. Only launched to half-height and thought battery was dud but Dennis pointed out that the toe of his shoe was against the drum acting as a brake! Should really have relaunched in the working time but thought he might make a go of it from that altitude with predictable results!
